Arda and the Giannena: Middle East, Turkey, Greece
Influenced heavily by the Middle Eastern and Eastern Mediterranean
sound and scales, Arda and the Giannena combines music originated from the Middle Eastern, Turkish, Greek, Cretan and Ottoman traditions and mix it with a touch of
Jazz on their sound and the song structure as well as Rock influences
on the music they perform. The goal of their music is to excite the listeners,
draw them into the music, the sound and the stories behind the songs
and put them on their toes with the irresistible urge of dancing with the rhythms they play.
